Cold store door frames should be heated to prevent ice build-up and malfunction.
We manufacture three systems:
• Low voltage stainless steel strip heating
• Low voltage cable heating
• Mains braided cable heating

All three systems are available in the following configurations and have the option of a 10mm or 20mm LED indicator to show that the heater circuits are operating correctly.

Threshold mats are easily installed under the top screed & recommended for all external openings.

Blade/Leaf Heater
Used to prevent the door from freezing shut. Positioned on the underside of the coldroom door.
Operated using either its own transformer or a dual function transformer, powered continuously to keep a constant temperature

Loheat Slab Heaters – low voltage electric
Used to prevent the build up of ice around doorways or door openings
Operated using its own transformer, powered continuously to keep a constant temperature

Loheat Ramp Heaters – low voltage electric
Used to prevent the build up of ice on ramps, ramp heaters can be used internally or externally. The heating elements can be fitted underneath the concrete or on top of it under a chequered plate.
